Few tweets have aged this well.
Especially if you’ve been watching the rise of Treeverse.
It’s the kind of game that feels like it was dreamed up by someone who grew up farming lobsters in Catherby, got their first rune scim from a friend, and somehow landed in crypto to see on-chain gaming become a thing.
Add in a sprinkle of Zelda-style worldbuilding, a classless combat system, and the chill-but-degen spirit of Web3, and you’ve got something worth paying attention to.
This isn’t your so-called crypto game with shiny trailers and zero gameplay — Treeverse is real, live, and entering its first public reward campaign.
Let’s break it all down.
🌲 What is Treeverse?
Treeverse is a top-down, classless MMORPG that you can play on iOS, Android, or PC (via Epic Games).

You start in the city of Lorwick, craft your first weapon, and dive into dungeons with friends to fight monsters, gather resources, unlock loot blueprints, and level up.
It’s designed to be social, open-ended, and — this is key — actually enjoyable without touching any crypto. You can party up, chill solo, build your home base, join a guild, and grind your way toward the World Tree. The gameplay loop is clean: quest, craft, conquer, repeat. If you’ve played RuneScape, you’ll feel right at home — minus the 2007 browser lag.
⚔️ The Gameplay Vibes
Forget classes — Treeverse is classless, letting you pick up whatever weapon you vibe with and build your character how you want. Combat is action-based, fast-paced, and party-friendly.
There’s skilling (mining, fishing, woodcutting), boss dungeons with fat loot, and a knowledge tree system that replaces rigid classes with flexible perks and abilities. Every fight and resource node helps you progress, with more zones unlocking as you level up.
The current Pre-Season features a solid gameplay loop, with more content (pets, mounts, PvP, raids, storyline quests) coming as the game grows.
☁️ Who’s Behind It? Meet Endless Clouds

Endless Clouds is a mobile-first gaming studio with many employees and an office in Taiwan, operating as a globally remote team of ~35. Founded in 2021, they’ve been heads-down building Treeverse ever since, with a mission to push digital ownership back to users without compromising on fun or UX.
They’re backed by a powerhouse group of angel investors — including founders from Axie Infinity, Pudgy Penguins, and AAVE — and have delivered 40 straight months of updates, a streak most projects can only dream of.
Though Treeverse was born in Web3, their philosophy is not. Founder Loopify is putting gameplay first, blockchain second:
“We believe that digital ownership is an add on to games, and not something that dictates the design.”
To that end, they’ve partnered with Immutable zkEVM to power seamless on-chain integrations: gasless, fast, and invisible to normies. No clunky wallets. Just pure gameplay.
⌛ From Pixels to Playable: 4 Years of Building
Endless Clouds started production of Treeverse in 2021, and since then a lot has changed.
Here is a quick overview:
- 2021: Art begins. Nftrees, Plots, and Timeless NFTs launch. Company raises a seed round at a $25M valuation, co-led by IdeoCo Labs and Animoca Brands.
- 2022: Team scales, ecosystem foundations laid. Quiet build year with community updates and lore/worldbuilding.
- 2023: Engineering ramps up. First dev builds roll out. Studio raises an additional $2.5M+ in strategic funding from angels and gaming funds.
- 2024: Closed testing, merch drops, Immutable + MON Protocol partnerships. Another $1.75M raise announced in April, alongside finalized dev build.
- 2025: Open Alpha hits iOS, Android, and Windows. First public reward campaign launches. $END token expected soon.
Through it all, Treeverse has stayed consistent—no sudden pivots, no token launches for a quick pump. Just pure, public building with the community along for the ride.
🏘️ Trees, Plots, and Timeless JPEGs
Treeverse launched three genesis NFT collections back in 2021 to kickstart development and rally an early community around the game. Together, they’ve done over $100M in trading volume, a pretty wild stat considering the game hadn’t even launched yet. Each collection comes with its own utility — even if much of it is still marinating behind the scenes.
🌲 NFTrees
Supply: 420 / Opensea
These will act as resource-generating assets, producing fruit that buffs your character and can be sold in-game for $END.
Past perk? Holders got airdrops of both Plots and Timeless.
🏡 Treeverse Plots
Supply: 10,420 / Opensea
Customizable homes with both interior and exterior design potential. Higher tiers = better placement, more features.
🎭 Timeless Characters
Supply: 9,420 / Opensea
Fully interoperable skins, playable in Treeverse and other virtual platforms like VTube avatars and pixel art metaverses.
Aside from the Timeless being playable in a few games, none of this is live yet — and that’s intentional. Loopify confirms it’s all “roughly two years out” as the team focuses on polishing the core game first. In his words:
“We take the approach that none of it matters if no one plays the game.”
Even with the longer timeline, holders haven’t flinched. All three collections have held up surprisingly well, with steady floor prices and consistent volume — a rare feat for any 2021-era NFT project. They’re among the few still standing after both bull and bear.
🏆 The ENDgame
Time to talk $END — the soon-to-launch utility token of the Endless Clouds ecosystem.
Here’s what we know:
- It’s an ERC-20 with a 500M total supply
- It’s the premium currency for cosmetics, exclusive content, and event access
- It’s launching with a DEX-only approach to maximize circulating supply
And here’s the juicy alpha:
- The first public reward campaign will distribute 2.76% of $END
- Extra $MON and $IMX rewards will also be distributed
- Rewards are split across active users, skilling, and leaderboards — with leaderboards holding the biggest share, further split into Dungeon Challenge, XP, Gold, and Monster Shard categories.
- All rewards will be fully unlocked at TGE (no vesting or additional requirements)
- NFT holders get bonus multipliers — up to 1.75x for NFTrees
🧙♂️ Final Thoughts
Treeverse isn’t promising a moonshot. It’s promising a real game. One that’s fun to play, easy to access, and quietly onboarding Web2 gamers into Web3 — without shouting buzzwords every 10 seconds.
It’s built by a team that listens, ships, and iterates in public.
Now, with Season 1 and the first $END reward campaign just around the corner, Treeverse is finally entering its next phase — not with a trailer, but with a playable world and a plan.
And unlike many projects fading out in a rough market, Endless Clouds is built to last. As Loopify puts it:
“Relative to the size of our team, our burn rate is low and we have multiple years of runway even if we don't raise any further.”
Get ready for one of the most anticipated Web3 launches since 2021!
