Hyper Foundation Announce HYPE Token

The Hyper Foundation just announced HYPE, the native token that will drive the Hyperliquid chain's next wave of growth. This release is a major milestone for Hyperliquid as the team aim to back up its decentralised exchange (DEX) and make the ecosystem more accessible and versatile within the space.

Why HYPE Matters for Hyperliquid

HYPE is going to be the backbone of the Hyperliquid ecosystem’s expansion. Currently, Hyperliquid’s DEX aims to offer some of the best on-chain liquidity around, supporting a range of assets. The exchange is central to the Foundation’s vision for a more advanced financial system, where anyone can easily access high-quality liquidity.

HYPE will also secure Hyperliquid’s upcoming HyperEVM, a new Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) that links Hyperliquid’s liquidity with other apps built on the platform. With this integration, developers building on Hyperliquid can access deep liquidity and financial tools in ways that weren’t available before.

The Genesis Event

For the Hyperliquid community, this token launch is a big deal. HYPE plays a key role in the platform’s proof-of-stake consensus mechanism, HyperBFT, as well as future projects in Hyperliquid’s pipeline.
