In our last guide, we explained why Rabby is one of the best EVM wallets currently available, and walked you through how to set it up on browser and mobile.

Now that you’ve got it installed and funded, it’s time to go beyond the basics.

This isn’t about “why Rabby is better” — you already know that.

This is about how to actually get the most out of it: the tips, tricks, and power moves that turn Rabby from just another wallet into your DeFi command center.

Time to open your Rabby wallet - let’s start pushing some buttons!

1️⃣ Fund Your Wallet

Let’s quickly cover the basics.

Receive Direct Deposits

Need to top up your wallet? Use the built-in receive option with QR codes and addresses.

➡️ Click on Receive
➡️ Select the chain you want (e.g. Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum)
➡️ Copy your address or scan the QR code, then paste it into the wallet or exchange you’re sending from (like Coinbase, Binance, or another wallet app)

Top Up Gas

GasAccount is Rabby’s built-in way to keep funds ready for transaction fees.

➡️ Click your gas balance at the top
➡️ Select Deposit in GasAccount
➡️ Choose an amount and token, then confirm

2️⃣ Enhanced Safety

Rabby doesn’t just hold your funds — it actively protects them. From risk scans to approval controls, here are the key features that keep you one step ahead of scams.

Disconnect from Dapps

Want to see which sites have wallet access? Manage or disconnect them here in one tap.
Disconnecting here is mostly a privacy / hygiene step: it prevents those sites from automatically seeing your wallet address when you visit again.

➡️ Click on More
➡️ Select Connected Dapps
➡️ Review the list or hit Disconnect All

Revoke Approvals

If you’ve imported your old MetaMask wallet into Rabby, chances are you’ve got a backlog of dusty approvals still hanging around.
Good news: Rabby makes it easy to wipe them out all at once.

➡️ Click on Approvals
➡️ Review your approvals list
➡️ Hit Revoke to clear the ones you don’t want. Hover over the various metrics for more details.

Auto Lock

Worried about leaving your wallet open? Auto Lock shuts it down after a set time so your funds stay safe.

➡️ Click on More
➡️ Select Auto lock time
➡️ Choose your preferred timer

3️⃣ Forgotten Bags

One of the most useful features of this wallet.
Rabby scans across chains and shows you those random tokens you forgot you owned.

➡️ Click on the list of chains right under your balance
➡️ Browse your full list of tokens and scroll all the way down to see every active staking position

4️⃣ Rabby Points

Rabby rolled out its points system back in January 2024. You could earn points by transacting with Rabby or referring new users, but Season 2 wrapped up after six months and things have been quiet since.
Still, it’s worth keeping an eye on — DeBank might revive the program or tie rewards to it down the line.

➡️ Click on More
➡️ Select Rabby Points
➡️ View your balance and see ways to earn

5️⃣ Explore Ecosystems

One of Rabby’s hidden gems is its built-in dApp explorer — a database of 5,000+ apps across 90+ chains.

The benefit?
  • Instantly see which chains your favorite dApps live on
  • Discover new apps by category (DEXes, NFTs, lending, and more)
  • All links go straight to the official site, reducing the risk of phishing

⚠️
Quick reminder
This protects you from fake links, but not from dApp exploits themselves. Always DYOR before you ape in.

➡️ Click on More
➡️ Select Search Dapps
➡️ Browse or search for the app you want to use

6️⃣ Disguise as MetaMask

Some dApps still don’t show Rabby as a login option.
No stress — Rabby can “pretend” to be MetaMask so you can connect anywhere.

➡️ Click on More
➡️ Select Connect Rabby by Disguising as MetaMask
➡️ Allow Rabby for the site you’re on currently, then refresh and connect via MetaMask

7️⃣ Additional Features

We’ve gone through Rabby’s core power moves — now let’s round it out with the smaller (but still handy) extras you’ll find in the app.

  • Lock Wallet
    • Temporarily locks your wallet, so your funds stay safe when you're AFK or stepping away — like a quick “pause” on access.
  • Signature Record
    • Tracks your pending and completed transactions — plus offers one-click options to speed up or cancel stubborn stuck transactions.
  • Manage Address
    • Lets you delete unused addresses from your Rabby list while keeping the funds safe on-chain. Easy cleanup without risking access.
  • Ecosystem
    • Browse partner blockchains directly in Rabby and discover networks offering rewards and incentives for early users.
  • Switch Dapp Address Independently
    • Allows assigning a different wallet address to each dApp — so you can use one for trading and another for NFTs, without flipping your main account.
  • Add Custom Network
    • Enables you to manually add networks not pre-listed in Rabby, like a testnet or a brand-new EVM chain.
  • Modify RPC URL
    • Shortcut to plug in your own node endpoint, so your transactions load faster and more reliably.
  • Current Language
    • Lets you change the app’s display language to fit your preference or comfort.
  • Theme Mode
    • Flip between Light or Dark UI — so your wallet can match your aesthetic.
  • Clear Pending Locally
    • Clears stuck or outdated pending transaction messages in the app (without touching the blockchain) — just a visual refresh in your Rabby UI.

Conclusion

At the end of the day, a wallet isn’t just a place to park tokens — it’s how you actually live on-chain.
And Rabby does more than hold your bags: it smooths out the rough edges of crypto, gives you guardrails against scams, and throws in a few power-user toys along the way.

In this guide, we covered how to fund your wallet, lock it down with safety features, rediscover forgotten bags, explore new dApps, and tweak extra settings to really make Rabby your own.

Of course, wallets evolve — interfaces may change, features may get added, and some details here might look a little different in future updates.

But the goal stays the same: helping you use crypto with more confidence and less friction.
