A page will open automatically, and you’ll get the choice to either create a new address or import an existing one.
Option A - Create a new address (click to expand)
If you’re starting fresh: choose “Create a new wallet.”
You’ll be given a seed phrase — a secret list of words that acts as your one master key to the wallet.
🔐 Treat it like a golden ticket.
Anyone who gets access to that phrase can steal your funds! So write it down on paper. Store it physically, offline, and definitely not in your iCloud or Google Drive.
Once that’s safely backed up, you’ll be asked to create a password — this locks access on your device only (you’ll still need the seed for recovery elsewhere).
And that’s it — your new Rabby wallet is live and ready to explore the multichain jungle! 🌱
Option B - Import an existing address
Prefer importing your existing wallet?
Choose your method of choice and follow the steps.
Not sure where to find your seed phrase or private key? Head to your old wallet’s settings, then look for “Security”.
In MetaMask, you’ll find your seed phrase under “Security & Privacy”.
Copy your seed phrase into Rabby and you’re good to go!
Does writing your seed phrase into Rabby present additional risk?
Short answer: Yes, a little.

- If your device is compromised, your seed could be too.
